Snowshoe take 2

We had so much fun snowshoeing that Neil and I decided to do it again on our own! Grandma Joyce came out for the weekend so we could sneak away to Estes Park to enjoy the mountains--I had a Chorale concert up there on Saturday night too.
It was so stunningly beautiful!

Our destination: Mill Lake

We hiked six miles. Much of it on new snow. There was a couple in their 80's on the same trail. I hope we can keep doing this when we are 80! It is a great way to enjoy the mountains without waiting for summer (or spending a fortune at a ski resort).
