Centennial Children's Chorus Summer Festival

The week after school was out Mark participated in the first annual CCC Summer Festival.   You would think that singing for three hours a day, Tuesday thru Saturday would be torture for some kids, but inspired by his older sisters and his own like of singing, Mark was a happy camper!

On Saturday morning the music festival participants put on a terrific concert combined with the current CCC choirs.   Those kids learned words and actions and notes to seven songs!

This is Mara and a couple of friends hanging out before the concert.
Can you see the creative thoughts lurking behind those eyes?!
It was truly a beautiful concert!   The audience was thrilled and at times moved to tears.   We love the Centennial Children's Chorus and feel so blessed to belong!
Another Hansen in CCC!   On the way home Mark said, "I feel more grown up now.  I can sing with you guys!"   And they sang "Jubilate Deo" all the way home.  It warmed my heart.
Neil is missing from this picture because he was at a high adventure camp with the scouts in the ward.
