Mara was given a special award. It was the Outstanding Student Award for her elementary school from the local Masonic chapter. She has a very nice plaque and it is a great honor. Only one student gets this award every year.
The other Hansen kids were outstanding students too. Hayley and Emily both finished the year with straight A's and accolades from teachers. Hayley also "Lettered" in music and academics at Fort Collins High School. The boys got good reports from teachers too. Mark especially improved his reading dramatically!
